On the subject of risk reduction, the Group has adopted the innovations prescribed by Decree 626/94 and has instituted a permanent organic management system that identifies, evaluates, reduces and monitors risk factors within the company.

The provisions and safety measures aim to:

• Prevent professional risks
• Organise a safety system
• Inform workers
• Guarantee workers a professional training

The Group has also prepared and updates a number of manuals that attribute to single functions the greatest safety risks (Decree 626/94), noise (Decree 277/91) and chemical risks (Decree 25/02).

ALFA ACCIA, ACCIAIERIE DI SICILIA, but also FERROBERICA and ALFA DERIVATI have all implemented safety systems, and the following Emergency teams have been organised as required:
• Fire Fighting
• Radio Protection
• First aid posts for injuries or illnesses requiring on-site medical assistance

As proof of the ALFA ACCIAI Group's total commitment to safety issues, our products are certified “"free from radio active contamination" and all the Companies in the Group obtained the fire prevention certificate.
